Get your residency application headshot in Los Angeles done with confidence and at a good price. In addition to receiving the ERAS headshot that meets required specifications, you’ll get the same photo in non-ERAS format so you can use it on other profiles.

HOW TO BOOK

Pick a headshot type from the menu. Select the “see rates” button. Pick a session and you’ll be taken to the booking system.

YOUR SESSION

There are a few sessions. The most popular is $150 and is 60 minutes, includes 3 looks (outfit changes), and 2 retouches. You also get all the non-retouched shots, which can be 25-40 shots per look.

DURING YOUR SESSION

We'll review the shots as we go to make sure we're on target. We can do in-studio, natural light, or both (sun and weather permitting).

FINISHING YOUR SESSION

You’ll be emailed an online gallery of all the shots. You select your favorite(s) there for retouching. When retouching is finished, the shot(s) are made available via the same gallery.

Requirements to Meet for a MyERAS® Application Photo or Headshot

Your headshot – is one document required as part of the MyERAS® application. You will upload the headshot to the system but it will get kicked back if you do not meet the requirements. The technical requirements for an ERAS headshot image file currently states it cannot exceed the following:

Dimensions: 2.5 in. x 3.5 in.
Resolution: 150dpi
File Size: 150kb

These requirements are subject to change. For example, the file size requirement was changed a year ago, allowing photographers to provide even better quality results. So, be sure to check the most current MyERAS requirements before booking a headshot session.

Get Two Headshots in One

When you book with The Light Committee, you will also get an 8×10″ version of your headshot so you can put it to use on other business and personal online profiles, or you can share it with friends and family.

Details on What’s Included:

Around 25-30 shots per look. Max time includes consult, setup, etc. Online gallery emailed same day or next business day to download all unedited photos and to select retouch(es). Retouch(es) provided 1-2 business days after you select. Same-day headshot service is also an add-on option to get retouches the same day. Natural light sessions done within 1-2 blocks of studio storefront. To note, a “look” change is an outfit change, hair or makeup change, background or light setup change that takes less than 5 minutes each. Extra retouches, $25 each. Option to add hair and/or makeup stylist during booking.

Non-retouched photos are provided as JPEG files sized around 2,500 DPI on the long edge. Retouched photos are provided as JPEG print-quality 8×10” and as a web-quality file optimized to post online (2,000 DPI long edge). Retouches may be outsourced by the studio as needed.
